Kilmer Band Contact List
		Updates on the performances, news, music, current and future band happenings. The band strives to integrate technology into the music classroom via the internet, MIDI keyboards, "Finale" music notation software, "Sibelius" music notation software, grading programs, and ear training software. This list will serve as a way to coordinate discussions on all of the above topics.

		Marshall Art Shapiro and Friends (a jazz group) features a website with streaming audio featuring the group (www.marshallartjazz.com). The group also performs live with electronic instruments such as a digital piano and some synthesizers on the horn. The announce list will promote the website and announce upcoming engagements of the group playing in Silicon Valley (Santa Clara Valley), California.
		Audiality
		Audiality is a highly scalable and portable audio engine for music and sound effects in the studio as well as in multimedia products. Audiality is intended to scale from games on low end hardware to professional studio use. A tool that you can use for content creation as well as in the final product. Audiality is completely Free/Open Source (LGPL), and may be used in commercial, closed source products as well as Free software.

		A place for mathematicians, music theorists, and musicians to discuss the topic of musical instrument tuning, especially using math. This includes topics like: just intonation and temperament, scale construction, instrument and notation design, and psychoacoustics. There are at least two software projects of interest here: Scala, and Fractal Tune Smithy.

		Diesel Theory
		A large part of the work we do is in educating artists working in communities about the uniqueness of technological and media resources available to them. Diesel Theory is a band that utilizes a unique blend of technology and live performance. All percussion scores are written as a midi score and assigned live samples to them, producing the drum track. This is performed on stage as well with the use of midi drivers written in C++. Diesel Theory is a Metal Band and is on the SuperNova Record Label owned and operated by Steve Austin. This list will be utilized to distribute information to our fans about record label events, shows, and other information related to making our art and music available to them.
