The Global Learning Portal’s primary goal is to test the effectiveness of using a global web portal to improve the quality of education in resource-scarce areas of the world.

This list is going to be used to communicate with a class whose course goal is to develop and implement a system of cameras -- both fixed and pivoting-- that are connected via a wireless mesh, all communicating back to a central center. The purpose of the system is to utilize vehicle recognition software to identify and/or track cars based upon a set of criteria, like going faster than 25mph. The entire class discusses the correct course of action, splits tasks, and works together to complete the overall goal, and as such, I am hoping to be able to communicate easily with the different teams that we have broken up into -- this particular group is for the group leads and myself, the class lead.
