List to discuss technical aspects of a new application (OpenSIG). The main funcionality will be to visualize shape files, dgn files, dwg files, dxf files, and some raster formats. Also, it will be a OpenGIS WMS client.
It will be programmed in Java entirely and will be able to deal with large files.
Other open projects that we are going to use: JTS (Java Topology Suite) and Geotools.
